From module to camp

An I-4S shelter is never used on its own. It connects to another module, to a vehicle, to a container, and the whole builds up to the size of a camp.

V range

One shelter, four lengths

The V range is the main family of I-4S shelters: aluminium frame, outer cover, 6 m wide and the height needed to stand upright inside. Command post, hospital, dining hall, workshop: the interior fit-out changes, not the shelter. Only the length varies, in 2.90 m bays, from 18 to 70 m².

The British Army COLPRO hospital

Reference hospital

In 2019 I-4S delivered two COLPRO / CBRN field hospitals with a very high level of service to the British Ministry of Defence. The hospital operates in a fully filtered and pressurised CBRN environment, providing genuine working comfort for patients and medical staff alike.

It successfully passed an extensive series of tests, in the laboratory and on operations. It can still be used in a conventional unprotected configuration.

We manufacture what we sell

From the design office to commissioning, the close link between customer contact and production keeps projects responsive and traceable.

  • Design office and production

    5,000 m² dedicated to fabric manufacturing, 1,500 m² to mechanical assembly and metalwork. High-frequency welding and sewing, with a CAD design office linked directly to the production machines.

  • Testing and validation

    Snow load, wind, watertightness, light-tightness, endurance over erection and striking cycles, thermal and acoustic insulation.

  • Training

    Our instructors train users in France and abroad, and support delivery until the products are fully mastered.

  • In-service support

    Preventive and corrective maintenance at the customer site or in our facilities: repairs, washing, inspections and conformity tests.
