QUICK SETTING UP

The GV tent incorporates a patented state-of-the art folding frame design. The shelters can be erected in under 1 hour with few people. The ease with which the GV series deploy saves soldiers time and simplifies training.

ROBUST, RELIABLE AND SUITABLE

I-4S is a manufacturer of quick setting up tents that are highly transportable due to their simple but robust design and lightweight features.
The GV shelters resist to 110 km/h constant wind with gusts up to 130 km/h. They have been set up and taken down in the field more than 50 times.
They can support up to 50 kg/m² of snow load sustained for 12 hours. They can withstand 50 l/m²/h of wind driven rain sustained for 30 minutes.
The blackout capability has been checked at 100 meters by the naked eye and at 300 meters with a night vision goggles.

HUNG FABRIC AND ALUMINIUM FRAME

The main fabric of the shelter is hung to the frame. It gives complete weather protection (wind, snow, rain, sand) as well as a blackout protection. The main fabric is made of a woven polyester PVC coated on both sides.

THERMAL FLY

The thermal fly is an external solar shade used to reduce the extreme radiant heat transfer from the outside environment to the inside of the shelter. It can be easily deployed over the aluminium frame while keeping an air gap in between itself and the main fabric.

INNER LINER

The GV series can be pre-fitted with an inner liner. I-4S proposes two types of material which both improve the comfort inside.
The addition of the inner liner increases the level of the thermal insulation.

MODULARITY

The GV tent can be extended in length as much as needed by the addition of 5,4 m long module.
All loads are hand portable and no tools are required to set up the tent.
The GV tent can be connected to all other I-4S tents in line or in cross configuration.

CBRN COLPRO

The GV tent can be used as COLPRO shelter thanks to the addition of the optional CBRN resistant inner liner and an air filtration unit.
COLPRO shelters are designed to protect people in contaminated areas and can be set up as a conference room, container protection, etc.

ACCESSORIES

I-4S designs their shelters taking into account the global solution for which the shelters are intended for. The position and the fixation of the lighting and electrical systems, the plenums and the partition curtains are optimized in order to ease the set-up and the use and to reduce the logistical burdens.
