Privacy policy
What this website does with your data, and what it does not do.
The data we collect
This website only collects personal data through its contact form: your name, organisation, job title, country, email address, phone number and message, the products concerned and, where applicable, the specifications you attach (a PDF file).
We also keep the language of the page and the address of the page from which you wrote to us, so that we know what you were looking at. To limit abusive submissions, your IP address is kept for one hour at most, without being stored with your request.
Like any web server, our host's server keeps a technical log of connections (IP address, page requested), used for its security and proper operation.
Why, and on what basis
This data is used only to answer your request: preparing a quote, answering a question, arranging a meeting at a trade show. It is not used for marketing or for a newsletter, and it is never sold or passed on.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) for a quote request; our legitimate interest in answering the questions sent to us (Article 6(1)(f)) for an information or meeting request.
Who has access to it
The controller is I-4S, publisher of this website (see the legal notice).
Requests are read by the I-4S teams in charge of answering them, in the website's administration area. They are hosted in France by o2switch, which only has access to them to run the server. The notification of your request and the acknowledgement are sent through our email service.
How long we keep it
A request is kept for three years at most after it is received, then deleted automatically together with its attachment.
No audience measurement, no cookies
This website does not measure its audience: no analytics tool, no advertising tracker, no social media button following you from page to page.
It does not place any cookie on your device. Only the website's administration area, reserved for the I-4S teams, uses a session cookie, which is needed to log in.
The fonts, images and scripts of the website are served by the website itself, without calling any third-party service.
Videos
Videos are hosted by YouTube. A page loads nothing from YouTube until you click on a video: only then is the player loaded, from youtube-nocookie.com, the YouTube domain that keeps no information about you before playback starts. Once you start the video, YouTube (Google) processes the data related to playback under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the data of a request you sent us, object to its processing or ask for it to be restricted, by writing to contact@i-4s.eu. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country (in France, the CNIL; in Luxembourg, the CNPD).
